I bought a 42″ flat screen tv a couple of years ago, and was naturally concerned about what to do soon after the 1 year manufacturer’s warranty had expired. The store provided its own extended warranty program, but I was hesitant about putting down hundreds of dollars for a three year extended warranty. I bought a square trade warranty for a ltc tv/hd dvd combo 2 years ago and it was very good for five years. When the hd dvd player went out, the square trade warranty folks responded to my query in much less than 2 hours. When I explained that I did not want to ship the television/dvd player combo in for a refund of buy price tag simply because I was disabled and used the television for a computer monitor as properly as to play dvds, the square trade folks had been extremely compassionate and with basically turing in a statement that the hd dvd player did not work, they refunded a portion of the dollars inside hours so I could buy a separate player to go with the television. These folks are extremely kind, really helpful and make using the warranty quite effortless and handy, which is considerably appreciated as my disability would make it really challenging if I had bought an in-shop warranty. I strongly encourage everyone to acquire a square trade warranty. If you need to make very good on the warranty, you will discover these folks really easy to deal with.
